This is a beautiful multicolor "Queen's Castle" creamer & sugar set by Alfred Meakin, England. The transferware pattern features a castle on a lake surrounded by trees, flowers, vegetation and mountains. The prominent colors are brown, blue and pink on the creamy white ironstone. The rim of the pieces are gently scalloped, and the borders have an embossed rope detail.
Beautiful for use or display.
Creamer: 4.75" spout to handle, 3.5" tall.
Sugar: 6" wide handle to handle, 3.5" tall to top of lid finial.
Excellent vintage condition! No chips or cracks. There is fine crazing on the creamer.
