Vintage Glass Serving Bowl & (4) Individual Bowls, Koiranputki (Cow Parsley) by Pertti Kallioinen, Lasisepat Mantsala, Finland

Absolutely beautiful hand-blown large glass serving bowl & 4 individual serving bowls in the "Cow Parsely" or Koiranputki (in Finnish) pattern. This pattern was designed by Pertti Kallioinen for Lasisepat Mantsala, Finland. Production was later continued by Dansk and was known as Floriform. The Dansk pieces were marked "Italy". These pieces are unmarked, therefore likely that they are earlier Finnish pieces. They feature etched glass shaped in the form of a flower petal. The petals appear somewhat asymmetrical, adding to their overall whimsy and beauty. The embossed cow parsley / koiranputki pattern resembles queen anne's lace and has such a beautiful botanical style. The outside of the glass bowl is textured, the inside is smooth. This set would be wonderful for serving salad or fruit & displays beautifully! Condition: Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light surface wear from use or stacking during storage.
