This is a beautiful set of 4 bread plates in the "Queen's Castle" pattern by Alfred Meakin, England. The transferware pattern features a castle on a lake surrounded by trees, flowers, vegetation and mountains. The prominent colors are brown, blue and pink and forest green on creamy white ironstone. The edge of the plates are gently scalloped, and the border has an embossed rope detail.
These plates display beautifully when not in use.
Perfect for appetizers!

Excellent vintage condition! No chips or cracks. I do not see any crazing.
