This is a beautiful set of 4 berry bowls in the "Queen's Castle" pattern by Alfred Meakin, England. The transferware pattern features a castle on a lake surrounded by trees, flowers, vegetation and mountains. The prominent colors are brown, blue and pink and forest green on creamy white ironstone. The edge of the bowls are gently scalloped, and the border has an embossed rope detail.
These bowls display beautifully when not in use.
5.25” diameter.
Excellent vintage condition! No chips or cracks. I do not see any crazing.
