This is a beautiful red transferware platter by Myott Meakin of Staffordshire England. The central scene depicts a charming cottage by a lake, complete with fishermen & sweet cows resting nearby in a pasture. There is a chapel in the distance. The border is filled with floral garlands and there is a cartouche of the scene at the top.
Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or cutlery marks.
