This is a gorgeous 19th century aesthetic movement transferware plate by C. Challinor & Co of England. The beautiful "Melbourne" pattern is in a blue gray color on the unique octagonal shaped dish.

Good antique condition with no chips or cracks. Little to no surface wear or cutlery marks. There is fine clean crazing in the glaze. There is some wear around the edge on the pottery and a few small marks that appear to possibly be from a plate hanger (photographed). Please see all photos.
